Apples!

The first thing we must do when picking apples is play in the yard while Daddy gets the buckets

We then pick the apples
Jaden was a super good helper. He picked the low apples then he would put the apples back in the bucket after Bella took them out. Also when I climbed the inside of the tree I would hand the apples to him to put in the bucket.

Then it's applesauce time! the Yancey's have this down to an art. First there is the cutting station.
Then a pot goes on to boil
Then through the strainer
Add plenty of sugar and cinnamon. Make sure Ryan tastes the first batch so we make it just right.
Bella supervises.
Fill the jars, wipe the top put on the lid.
Then they go in the pressure cooker. Keep a close eye on those!
Then out of the cooker to cool
We did 100 quarts of applesauce in less than 4 hours! Yay teamwork! We'll have more to do with apples later. After all we still need to do pie filling and dried apples! Love those apples!
