At the BIG Park

Jaden loves the BIG park that is just a few blocks from our house. We went last Saturday and since then every time I say "slide" he gets very excited! "side! Side!" We've been there twice since then.

He was a little timid to go across this bouncey bridge by himself, but BOY did he love it. Click on the pic to get a better view of his face, and check out his feet! Yup it's THAT bouncey!

Livin' in a Box

Jaden will do pretty much anything to get some attention. While daddy was setting up my mp3 player Jaden decided to try and get attention by climbing in the box that it came in. Yeah it worked. The box wasn't very big, but he managed to fit himself and his bunny in there. Ryan couldn't help but laugh and I couldn't help but grab the camera.
And laugh myself when I said "Jaden, Smile" And boy did he!

On my Walk

Jaden and I have been going for walks every morning at about 7:30. My friend Sara has also started going for walks everyday and took pictures of the cool stuff she sees. I was a bit jelous. Living in a little suburb, we see houses and more houses. Then I realized the problem was in my attitude. There is beauty everwhere. So here are some pictures of what we see on our walk.

Father & Son Campout

This last weekend Ryan took Jaden to the ward Father and Son Campout. I enjoyed my evening to myself and got caught up on some scrapbook forum responsabilities. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet for a bit. Jaden also really enjoyed the campout. He got to be outside and play in dirt! What more fun could there be for a little boy?
One of the other boys brought this truck with them and was so kind to let Jaden play with it. Ryan said he played with it nearly the whole time.

Ryan got Jaden his own camping chair. He liked it a lot!

Jaden behaved very well and never tried to run off or get too close to the fire. He's a natural camper and I can't wait for Ryan to take him again. (so I get more "me" time. Hee.) I do look forward to camping with my boys and baby girl next summer.
