Nope not the basketball kind, just the everyday madness that I enjoy in my home. :)
Did you read awhile back our misadventure on the first warm day of march? Let me refresh your memory:
So it is Beautiful outside! When I picked up Jaden from preschool he was having a blast running around outside with Russell. Bella was enjoying running around too. Not wanting to return to my dreary house I invited my friend (Jaden's preschool teacher) to join us with her 2 kiddos out for lunch. By the time we got everything together though she only had a few minutes to eat before her kids dentist appointment. So she was super rushed and I felt bad to be the cause. But we had no where to be so once we were done eating we headed to the Mcdonalds playground. . . still locked up and closed for winter :( Now I had a very distraught boy. Not to be daunted I told him I'd take him over to our favorite playground. Happy boy again. We headed over there and got the kids out only to find the whole place flooded. I guess it didn't occur to me that the heat would melt all the lingering ice leaving large puddles. Duh. But unfortunately Jaden was already 2 inches deep in mud. Nothing to do but carry on! I made my way with Bella through the marsh and up on the equipment where she gladly checked things out. Jaden went down the slide on the far end and into 2 feet of water! I kid you not! he was completely soaked! Luckily he assured me he was okay, but said the playground was too wet (which I had stated earlier) I told him I was so sorry and stripped him him of his soaked clothes and we came home. :( So much for our fun day in the sun.
So if you look at Jaden's pants you can see hi is one wet wet boy!
My little warrior had a little fun with the paint at preschool, he's truly not capable of keeping the paint strictly to the project at hand no matter how hard he is trying.
I've been enjoying salads for lunch since we started getting the bountiful basket. This is lettuce and spinach with string cheese, strawberries, pecans, and craisens. I'll admit this isn't totally filling so it usually goes along with a little bit of whatever the kids are having too, ya know noodles, or spaghettios or mac 'n cheese. But I really am loving these salads. :)
An early morning jaunt outside. Umm yes she decided to wear only 1 mitten.
Wanting to put up the trampoline since we got it for Christmas, Ryan jumped at this wind free morning and got to work. Weird that I didn't get any pics of the tramp set up and us playing on it, having too much fun I guess, don't worry I'm sure they'll be plenty of happy jumping kids pictures in this blogs future.
Rather than help Daddy with the tramp Jaden took the opportunity to ford the lake that is our driveway.
Hot fresh cookies from the oven. Mmm Mmm good.
Here's what happened when I told her she couldn't have another one.
For our Friday play date I told Jaden to hold Bella's hand and walk her to the door while I got the bikes out. I was super surprised both children allowed this. Aww what sweet kiddos.
How cute is Violet helping Bella ride the BIG bike! So sweet!
Okay I know these aren't my kids but this was so sweet I couldn't resist. Big bro Russell helped Mity onto the bike then gave her a ride. Look at her holding on tight. Aww.
My sleepy kids adjusting to the time change. Oh and this new cough they've caught.
For some reason Bella thought it would be a good idea to take off her shirt and put on my jacket. *shrug*
I also took pics of my beautiful niece KayAnne in her blessing dress that her Grandma Cox made for her. SO Pretty! If you want to see more pics I'm sure Natalie will have some up on her facebook or blog soon.
