Check out this adorable marshmallow pop I got from my visiting teachers for my birthday. She's almost too cute to eat . . . almost.

Friday, Jan. 27
It's my birthday! However it's pretty much like every other day, Bella sure seems ready to go somewhere though. Maybe to take her doggy on a walk to get some coffee and go shopping?

Saturday, Jan. 28
Ryan made me a cake and some cake balls and we got to enjoy my birthday with my family. Bella was a big help blowing out the candles and she really liked her cake too. Yummy!

Words and Words

1/11/12
Jaden had a fit tonight cause Bella got in the bath before him and took the front and I told him she could stay there. When I tucked him in he was still crying then said. "Mom I'm not a loser. I'm really fast like Francesca. I'm faster than Bella." I told him he's not a loser and Bella isn't either. What a goof. he's a big competitive.
He then told me he's really fast and can go like 10 miles in 1000.

1/13/12
The courthouse is under lockdown for an Anthrax scare annnnd that just so happens to be where Ryan and Jaden are. . . . Doh.
Good thing Daddy has Angry Birds on his phone. How else would you keep an overactive 4 yr. old entertained at the courthouse?

1/15/12
Dreamed I was working at Disney World. Made me miss it very much.

1/18/12
My kids raced to the van this morning
Jaden(4): I Win! Bella you Lose
Bella (2): Yay I lose. Yay Yay! I lose!

1/22/12
Jaden: "Mom I'm so excited for your birthday. . . cause I really love cake."

1/28/12
Thanks all for the birthday wishes! The best was Jaden told me, " Mom, now you're not a loser, your a genius like daddy cause it's your birthday and you got a monster truck game. . . but I still like daddy better. . . cause he's a boy and plays lightning mcqueen."

Week 3

Monday, Jan. 16
Mity and Russell came over to play while their Mommy was at the dentist. Be amazed at their tower! Okay so they may have had some help on the base, but they really did most of it themselves!

Tuesday, Jan. 17
After exercising I like to do a little yoga on the wii fit to stretch out. Bella is very good at doing the Yoga with me.

Wednesday, Jan. 18
Fighting over the tryc is now a thing of the past. Check out this tandem work at grandma's house!

Friday, Jan. 20
The 3rd Friday of the month is our temple day. Unfortunately we forgot that the Idaho Falls temple is closed for maintenance at this time. Not to be our on our Resolution the very first month, we drove up to go to the Rexburg temple. Our first time there. It was great. I know we are already being blessed for finally resolving to do what we should have been doing all along.

Saturday, Jan. 21
Oh yes I do so love my bountiful basket!

Week 2

This was an interesting week. Ryan was in Colorado for some of it so just me and the kids!

Sunday,  Jan. 8
 Jaden & Bella's artwork

Monday, Jan. 9

Now that our storage of fresh fruits and veggies from the harvest is mostly gone, we're back to getting the Bountiful Basket. I love this because we get such great variety and we eat so much better!

Tuesday, Jan. 10

I went over to my mom's and gave her and my aunt Adele manicures with our new nail plates. they turned out so pretty. Bella wanted in on the fun to and held so still so I could paint her nails pretty pink!

Wednesday, Jan 11
Do these look cozy or what? My mom found them for $2 a pair at Bed Bath and Beyond. Thanks Mom!

Thursday, Jan 12
Ryan got home today and took to the trees! He trimmed up our apple trees so their ready for spring.
Bella watched from the window - real close to the window

Friday, Jan 13
This photo is courtesy of Ryan's phone. He and Jaden went to the courthouse to get our 4-wheelers registered, and as the luck of Friday the 13th would have it, the courthouse had a Anthrax scare while they were there and the courthouse went into lockdown. Ryan and Jaden were stuck there for over 4 hours. Good thing Ryan had his phone. Jaden played Angry Birds and watched netflix and people kept buying him pop and candy, so actually he was a pretty happy hyper boy when he finally came out of this. . . . Ryan was not.

Saturday, Jan. 14
We made some fantastic bacon potato soup and ate it out of bread bowls. Oh yes it was at good as it looks!

At Brooklyn's House

After the Jazz game we stayed the night at Jeremy and Jessica's, or as my kids call it "Brooklyn's house"
The next morning there was great fun to be had.
 Such as wrestling uncle Jeremy.
Or teaching aunt Jessica how to play Angry Birds. Yes Jaden is a pro.
Nothing beats the transportation at Brooklyn's house

Snagged these next 3 pics from Jessica's blog :)
Brooklyn & Jaden really enjoyed each other
Jaden got very excited when he saw what Uncle Jeremy got for Christmas "That's just what I wanted!" Jaden said. And it's true, we saw this nifty rollercoaster at wal-mart but I told him it was for older kids. You know like 30 yr olds. ;)

The real excitement was that it had SNOWED! It's January and Blackfoot has seen little more than a skiff of snow. so the kids were super excited to get out in it.

 and eat it apparently
Blake tried his hardest to keep up with the other kids.
Perhaps his Daddy can help! Oh and yes Ryan is throwing snowballs at them.
Here they are in all their cuteness!

Thanks for letting us stay Jeremy and Jessica we had such a good time! Of course now Jaden keeps asking for waffles every morning. ;)

Go Jazz & Go Potters!

So one fine Thursday out of the blue Jeremy gives me a call and says we're doing a mini Potter reunion at the  Jazz game the very next night. I called up Ryan and all was good for us. This mini reunion ended up being a pretty darn big one! Jeremy had reserved the Hoity Toity Suite clear up at the top of the arena. The room was huge! The hot dogs, nachos, and popcorn were great too!

Waiting for it all to start.

 Sittin' around eating hotdogs.

The kids had a pretty good view.

 Wait not that close!!

 Chatting with GG.

 Here's the Jazz warming up.
Oh no! Daddy is going to throw Bella over! Save her the bear on the screen!
The bear missed we can all just watch in horror (except Jaden apparently)
Now Brooklyn is terrified! Okay actually I don't know why Brooklyn is hiding under there, oh and no Ryan didn't really throw her over the edge just in case you were wondering.
 See there's my adorable girl!
The Bear on his motorcycle. He's a pretty skilled mascot.
Bella knew all the right times to clap.
The view from our hallway. The trees are still beautifully lit.
There's the man of the hour and Jeremy too! Hee just kidding. It really was amazing for Jeremy to score us these tickets. He kept popping up to join the fun. Luckily he now has a trusty helper so he's not chained to the sound booth like usual.
Whatever it is Grandpa thought it was funny. :)
These two are pretty intent on the game. In fact both my kiddos watched far more of the game than I expected.
Speaking of the game there they are doing something basket bally.
There's Blake and his mommy. Seriously adorable!

The bear is a giant bowling ball!
Absolutely my favorite picture of the night!
sweet enough for a second look. Awww!
Stole a few pics from my aunt Judy. There's my cousin Mike telling his opinion on something or other.

Now this is super exciting. Okay so the picture's not, but let me explain. My cousins have a band called Waking Jordan. I think they are amazing!! Well Jeremy played their song "The Cure" during the game. It was so cool hearing it in the arena! This picture is Jeremy talking to Braden and Tucker (the amazing videographer)  about how a Salt Lake radio station would like to play them. Yeah we're all pumped
Here's some of Waking Jordan's Songs that I LOVE
Oh there's so many just go look them up. ;) with their originals they also have fantastic covers that they've done.

Judy even got a family picture of us. something I never seem to get on my own. :)
We had an exciting guest pop in at our Suite. The BEAR!

Boy the bear made a mess!
Jaden didn't seem to mind though. He enjoyed picking up the silly string and making balls out of it.
Bella loved watching the Jazz dancers on the screen and decided to give it a try herself. Bummer that they were pretty much done by the time I thought to video it, but you get the idea.

Here they are folks the reason we were all gathered. We were only missing Uncle Mick who was sadly on the other side of the country (funny that he couldn't make a day notice reunion huh?) And of course my Grandpa Potter who watched from his own balcony suite.

Oh! And by the way, The Jazz won! Just in case you were wondering. ;)
