Saying goodbye to the Trion's.

The Trion family moved in a couple years ago with their 7 children. Not surprising they had kids the same ages as my kids. We have truly enjoyed their family and their friendship. Jaden became especially good friends with Jerom. They had many common interests. Bella and Haylie have birthdays on the exact same day! And were often the only two girls in their primary class. Olivia adored Simon. While living here sister Trion had her 8th child. A sweet little girl.
Their neighbor threw them a great going away party. There was no way we would miss it! Though we now really miss them!

Bella's Date Night

Because we have 4 children they don't often get the attention that say an only child would have. So we thought we'd give them a chance to have mom and dad all to themselves. We took Bella on her date first.
We went to Michael's where we signed up for a craft class where we made little plant pots.

Bella and Daddy made pineapples and I made a strawberry. Bella's pineapple looks like Spongebob's house on one side. Complete with Gary!

Then over to Fuji for some sushi for lunch. Bella's been wanting to try sushi for a long time.
We of course had to start out with some calamari.

 So Yummy!
Bella liked most of the sushi, but she doesn't like it spicy at all. She even used her chopsticks like Celine taught her.

For desert: Ice cream at Kiwi Loco! So yummy!

We had a great time with Bella! It was fun doing things that she likes with her!

Summer fun!

Father's day cards and some fun summer coloring, oh and Jaden's fingerprints he had taken at the police station. . . for scouts. :)
 4 kids on a slide

I took my kids to the library but these odd characters followed me home.

Lincoln insists on pushing the stroller around though no one rides in it any longer.

Helping Daddy Make brownies? How did I know?

Time to start harvesting grandma's garden!

Brooklyn came to visit! Yay! Oh yes we had fun!!!

Grandma joined us at the school lunch one day and played on the playground with us!

Salt Lake Trip!

With the city lighting off their fireworks on the 1st and 4th of July being on Tuesday, Ryan had Monday off so we thought we'd take the kids to Salt Lake to the Water park that they earned with their Jewel Jar by doing extra chores around the house and being extra kind.

We left Sunday after church so we would have plenty of time. We ate at IHOP, which is the kiddos favorite place to eat, and then to the hotel and of course the pool!

Ryan even got Bella to doggy paddle across the pool. Yay!

We got a suite so Lincoln and Jaden could share the hide-a-bed. Lincoln was pretty excited about it, though Jaden said he kicked him a lot. :) Bella and Olivia were suppose to share a bed. . .
But naturally, Olivia chose to sleep under the table. *shrug*

We were planning on going to Seven Peaks but when Ryan looked it up it had horrible reviews. Like slides always being closed and the bathroom a disaster, the one in Provo even had a chemical spill and burned a boy. We decided to look for another place and found Cowabunga Bay. This ended up being the perfect choice. It was great for our kids ages. Bella could touch in the Lazy River and go on all the slides. It wouldn't be too exciting for teenagers, but perfect for our family.

Lincoln loved the slides in the Kid Cove.

I didn't get any pictures of the slides because I was having too much fun riding them! Along with the slides Jaden and Bella also loved the Lazy River.

There was a nice shallow pool to play in too.

Olivia's all time favorite was the slide in the Kid Cove named the Squiggle! She loved it and went on it over and over and over again.

After we were done at Cowabunga Bay we headed to Jeremy and Jessica's for some fun Cousin time! They played in the pool (cause they hadn't gotten enough swimming in yet I guess), played in the sandbox, and we ate pizza and made smores. I'm so glad they were able to have us over we had a blast!

The kids slept on the way home and we were all ready for the 4th of July breakfast the next morning. :)
