Meanwhile back home

Beautiful sunsets

This girl is uncontainable by every sense of the word. I looked over and here she was on the toy box. "How did you get up there?"
"Oh I see you climbed up the crate. Clever girl."
No worries Super Bella is near!
Okay although you are both super cute I am worried and going to put the camera down and remove the baby from this precarious situation before she face plants it.

This was a sad sad day. You see we bought a new recliner. Comfy thing. I was sitting in it with Ryan (after all we don't take turns well) and I had my tablet. Upon leaving the chair the tablet must have slipped through the cushion and ended up somewhere beneath the chair. Next time I was in the chair I realized it wasn't rocking. Didn't take long for Ryan to figure out why.
Rest in peace my wonderful Samsung Tablet. We played a lot of great games, took some great pictures, watched some entertaining netflix. You will always be my first and none will ever be as great as you (even if they do have more memory and faster processor).
Our first round of apple picking. Drying apples from the Yancey's Pace and Cooper came along for the ride too. Don't worry there will be much more apple picking ahead.

That's right, the whole family is addicted to electronics.
"Don't bug me now Mom, I'm playing my game."

1st day of 1st Grade

I can't believe I have a 1st grader! he looks so old and handsome!

Jaden LOVED it. He was so excited to go and had a great time. Bella however was bummed that she didn't get to go to school yet.
When I put Olivia down to nap and went to shower Bella goes "Where's Jaden?"
"At school honey, remember? You can watch whatever show you want."
"All alone?"
Clearly someone got used to having Jaden around this summer.

Then today (second day of school) at about 11 Bella said we needed to go get Jaden. I had to tell her that it wasn't time yet. Then when I made lunch she kept calling to Jaden to come eat. Silly girl. I'm sure she'll get used to him being gone. Plus she gets to go to preschool and dance next week.

anyhow Jaden loved today even more than yesterday he said. That's one happy 1st grader!

Fair!

How many times can I say I LOVE THE FAIR. A lot of this love stems from my own excitement for the fair as a kid. So of course I love giving my kids the same fun and excitement so the can love the fair forever too. Plus everything is just more fun with kiddos. :) So here comes a LOT of pictures!

They kept saying "baaa baaa"
Milking a cow. Okay not a real cow but they were pretty good at it. and got a sticker that said "I milked a cow today."

After they got free strawberry milk! I tried out the rootbeer milk. That's right you heard me. It tasted like rootbeer floats. Mmmm where can I get me some more of that stuff?

 "moo"

The kids got some oats to feed the kids. And boy are they ready to eat!

  "hey, it tickles!"

They liked eating Olivia's toes too.

Look at these darling little pigs!

 "Just like your donkeys grandma."
They would have watched this little hamster all day.
I would have played with this little pup all day. Just darling. Olivia wasn't sure what to think of it though.
 Snakes don't scare these kids.

 (If I can't eat it I really don't care)
There were some cute little tarantellas. The guy even told Jaden he could hold it, but he chickened out. Can't say as I blame him.
The LDS booth had these fun old fashioned toys out to play with. They loved this neat marble tree. I've never seen one like it and thought it was pretty cool too.

Aww fair food! The kids were very specific. Jaden wanted pizza and Bella wanted corn, fries, and pop. Olivia got scones and some of Jaden's pizza. Yum

 Happy fair goer
Grandma got them some little toys. Bella got a new lizard (Olivia bit a hole in her lizard from last year) Jaden picked out I thin the exact same car set as the year before. We've raised some creatures of habit for sure.
 Aww all tuckered out.
 RIDES!

I was concerned when the carny put Bella and Jaden in the same boat that they would fight over who would ring the bell. Bella solved this problem by ringing the bell behind her. Whew, crisis averted!
We all had a fantastic time. Thank you Grandma Potter for coming with us!!
