10 Months!

10 months old! Olivia may just be the happiest giggliest little 10 month old I've known. She's starting to understand daddy's teasing and decided she likes him pretty much as much as mommy. She also loves to mimic sounds. The kids love to play with her making raspberry or shooshing noises and she mimics them all. Hilarious really. She's so happy to just play around on the floor. This is such a relief to me as I can actually get some things done around the house while she plays. She also loves it when I sing and now tries to sing along. Except when I sing the song I always sing when I put her down to nap. Then she starts crying right away cause she knows what's coming. :)

As you can see those front teeth are starting to come in. She's had a hard day or night or two but for the most part she hasn't let it bother her much.

Meals at the Yancey residence are a delicate and sophisticated affair.

For some reason the kids have decided they can  pick this babe up and tote her around now. Moving her out of their way or up to where ever they want to play with her. I've told them to stop, but Olivia's giggles over ride me. I've had to be satisfies with PLEASE BE CAREFUL!! and for the most part they are, for the other part, well fortunately Olivia is pretty hardy and doesn't let a few bumps bother her either.

Billy pictures. Even my big 10 month old still looks a bit small compared to Billy. :) by the way Olivia LOVES to climb on Billy. Seriously one of her favorite past times.
 Love you baby girl!!

Wilby!

We've really been enjoying our story time in the park. For the last day of it they brought a special friend. Wilby! The pet pig. She even got to celebrate her birthday with us. We sang Happy birthday and Wilby even got a little cake!

The kiddos even got to go up and pet Wilby.

The kiddos thought it was pretty fun.

Olivia didn't have much opinion about the matter. :)

Thanks for the story times this summer! We'll miss them! (even if Jaden did play in the dirt while listening.)

More Summer Lovin'

This summer we've had a lot of picnics/birthday parties/tea parties down in our basement. This girl really know how to throw a party I tell ya!

Don't forget wrestling matches. These girls sure love their daddy.

Camp out made easy. We roast hot dogs and S'mores in our fire pit then to the trampoline for some under the star snoozing. . . . umm eventually.
Why yes that is Bella crawling head first into her sleeping bag.
I think I see an elbow? knee?

Some summer art.

It appears trying to put the gate above the trim makes it not so much blocking. Of course leave it to Bella to show Olivia how to escape.

Yeah, it seems she's quite proud of herself about it too.

We have new neighbors with a boy Jaden's age. Woot! Perfect ally for hunting zombies early in the morning.

And of course you have to have the right gear for hunting zombies.

Kenny and his darling family are visiting before moving all the way South Korea. So what better way to enjoy their company than have a bbq? Of course we had Jacob and his darling family come as well. Aww these boys aged well. I love that Ryan still has the same friends he had when he was Jaden's age. I wish I had gotten more pictures but I was having too much fun myself. :)

Well hello there.

Gooooooo Fire Balls!

Charming

This is what happened when I told him to smile AND keep his eyes open. That's a tough order ya know.

High fives all around!

This and That

More activity day fun at the library. This day they were painting sun catchers. Though Bella got so much paint on hers I don't think it'll be catching any sun.

Who wouldn't love a fun bubble bath?

While cutting the strawberries for my green smoothie I came over to find this cookie in my blender. I asked Bella if she meant to do that. She said "Yeah it'll be Yummy!" So strawberry, banana, cookie smoothie it was. Bella thought it was extra yummy indeed.

Olivia at 9 months

Well it's happened, actually it happened a few weeks ago but I got busy, ;) anyway she has now been out of my tummy longer than she was in. This is always a weird point for me because pregnancy seems to take FOREVER, but her infancy just flew by in a blink. Kind of bittersweet for me, but don't worry I can still hear her giggle and see those darling smiles and I cheer right up. ;)

Olivia is all over the place. Crawling at lightning speeds, standing all on her own, grabbing anything she knows she's not suppose to have. Don't wear pants too loose either cause she will pull them down trying to climb up you. ;) She loves to laugh and smile and giggle and does it A LOT! Look at that face, don't ya just melt?

She's climbing. Somehow she got up there all by herself and was pretty darn proud of herself as you can see. Fortunately her balance is pretty good, but she's quite a hazard to herself and must have vigilant supervision. So if I don't seem to accomplish anything in the next few months, this is why.

She loves her Daddy ALMOST as much as Mommy now.  Where I already mourn the days I can just sit hold her (she is WAY to wiggly to hold now), she is finally in the stage that Ryan starts to really enjoy. She can play! She's a bit tougher now and can take a little rough housing (not that mommy particularly approves), She will mimic sounds and expressions which makes for many fun games that always end in giggles. She has even learned how to tease, which is a vital part of family survival here. :)

She easily sleeps through the night (has been for a couple months now) but sometimes I'm surprised she does.
Boy good thing I have those bumpers in there for her comfort.

She loves playing with the other kids and being right up where they are. Much to Bella's irritation. Olivia's also been enjoying story time at the park, especially when she gets the treat too. This time is was "dirt" or crushed chocolate cookie. She thought it was the best dirt she's tasted, and she would know.

At Olivia's check up the nurse gave her this cute little seal. Needless to say she was pretty excited about it.

She's doing really well, though underweight. Not really surprising, just following after her brother.

Bella still seems to have issues with having a baby sister, but some days she is sweet as can be. On this day she put Olivia up on the piano bench and "taught" her how to play.

Olivia liked it so much she always wants to play the piano.

I do so love that happy baby girl!
