Saying Goodbye

For about 2 years the Moulton family has lived down the street from us. During that time we have become quite close. Jaden and Russell became the best of friends. Jaden LOVED going to preschool at Russell's house with Ashley as his teacher. Bella loved playing with Amity when we'd go to pick up Jaden from preschool and lolligag forever. :) We shared many lunches together. Also Ashley was my book club buddy, zumba buddy, and pretty much my sole adult conversation buddy. We also got a chance to go on a few double dates with her and her hubby Travis.

Now Travis is no longer a med student. You can call him Dr. Moulton. They are all headed to the Boise area for his residency. The kiddos and I are super sad to see them go. Ashley's friendly personality made her so easy to get along with and talk and talk and talk with. :) Russell is just 6 months older than Jaden. Mity is just 4 months younger than Bella. Making them all fast friends. And lets not forget baby Penny who will be about 6 months older than our to come baby girl. *sigh* if only they were still around to play together.

Before the left we needed one last jumping party on the trampoline.

That night we had them over for dinner and one last good-bye. . . with pictures. :)

We are so sad to see them go. But we are excited for them and their new adventure. Fortunately for us Ashley's parents live in Idaho Falls so they will be forced to come this way for visits. ;) We hope to visit them as well sometime.
We love you guys!

Story Time/ Messy Messy

Bella decided while her and Jaden and Maddox were chilling under the tramp that they needed a nice story, so she brought one out and read it to them. :)

I think Pasta Roni is off the menu for awhile. Sheesh!
This is what happens when the sandbox becomes a mudbox.
What do you do when your kid gives you an injured bird? Well wash her hands thoroughly of course then put it in a box and wait for it to die, which it did. Poor kids were so sweet, they made a nest for it and everything. When I told them it died Jaden said. "It's okay Bella, Jesus will take care of the bird now." Ahh!

Baby Animal Day

We love baby animal day at the fairgrounds. Seriously, who doesn't love baby animals?

Bella wanted to hug everything. She's so sweet!

 Ooo A straw maze!

Gotta spend time with those backhoes in the feed box. Daddy helped them get it all figured out.

Ooo giant bouncy horses! A little too big for the kiddos, but they had fun anyway.

I can't help it, these little guys are soo freakin' cute

 A wagon ride with Grandma!
 Milkin' a cow. . . sorta.
After ya milk a cow you gotta separate the cream!
 Ahh more hugging

Yay for baby animals!

Museum

Sue the T-Rex came to the Idaho Museum so we decided we had best go see her!

Do you like the kids scared faces. Pretty good huh? We also got to talk to a lady about how they get and ship dinosaur bones. Yeah I kinda had to add my own little dino friends. I just couldn't resist. Hee.
Sue in all her glory!
Of course the best place in the museum is the kids play area. They had  a animal track sand box, a tree house, caves, a tepee and a cabin  all ready for quality play. Who could resist?
My handsome boy chilling in a cave. Who'e afraid of bears? Not this boy!
This is what happened when I told Bella to smile for me. Umm okay I guess that's a smile... of sorts.

The kids were very good and we had a great time seeing all the dinosaur bones. Jaden especially liked the ones he could touch and checked every display for the green hand that meant he was allowed to touch it.

This and That

Bella found a soft pillow for a nap. Do you see it? Yeah it's Anna. What a nice kitty.

Now how did she get up there? Oh yeah. Daddy did it.

I don't think you can tell real well, but Jaden has a pound puppy collar around Bella's neck and is taking her for a walk.

Memorial Day we went out to the graves with my Mom. Bella enjoyed carrying the flowers.

Jaden reverently sitting at his great great grandparents grave. Okay so actually there's a cute butterfly in the flowerpot he's watching, but still. :) In fact both kids were more than happy to visit any grave with a pinwheel.

We visited quite several family graves on both mine and Ryan's side. We also took a look over at Bishop Adams, and Dane Peterson, and Jo Ferrin's graves also. The kids were very good. Jaden's starting to get a grasp on what death is. Well as far as any 4 year old can I suppose.
