My Kids Rock!

She got brave and tried to climb on herself (while watching tv even! multitasker!)
Let me explain the nakedness for a moment. Bella's new thing is to take off her pants, or any article of clothing she can manage to get off. This day she got it all off and happy being naked! Crazy kid!

This last one is just because she's so darn cute!
Bella loved her ride, and of course afterwards Jaden had to show his cowboy skills off as well!

Jaden is getting so good at praying all by himself. The other day at lunch he asked Heavenly Father to bless his mac'n cheese, his chocolate milk, and the Bella would stop whining. Got everything important in there. Heaven Father must especially love toddler prayers.

We're downstairs watching a movie and suddenly we hear Jaden screaming like his leg got cut off. We run upstairs to hear him scream bloody murder that he lost his sticker. Yup, his yellow smiley sticker fell off his hand. Thank goodness I had more! Woah! Crisis averted!

Spent the day Yesterday at Raging Waters! I so love water! Would have been more fun if my children shared my love, but Jaden is afraid of water and Bella hates her evil nemesis -The Sun- We still enjoyed the wave pool and had a pretty good time. I think my back got burnt the worst. guess whose job it was to keep my back sunscreened? tsk tsk hubby. :)

Anyone else watch a lot of Dora? Last night while waiting for the pizzas to cook Jaden swiped me! He put me in Bella's room and said "You'll never find it now heh heh heh." Then he came back in and said "I'm not Swiper, I Jaden! I found you!" Made me giggle alot!

As we're walking out the door- Jaden: I want to see the Octopus. Me: The Octopus? Jaden: Yeah he looks in my mouth. Me: Oh the dentist. Jaden: Yeah! The Dentipus. I giggled all the way there. Anyway he has a injured nerve in his front tooth making it kinda gray. I'm sad, but it's so much better than it having to be pulled!

When Jaden told me he wanted a new Dora I told him to wait a minute. In less than a minute I saved my Layout I was working on and went to start a new episode of Dora. when I turned around Jaden was typing away at the computer. He turned to me, held up a finger and said "One Minute" so I patiently waited my minute then he hopped down and said "Your turn Mommy, Thank you." LOL I better behave, the kid act just like me!

Quick trip to Utah

We decided to take a quick trip down to Utah to go to Raging Waters, but first we had to see one of our favorite Utah families! Yup my bro Jeremy, Jessica, & Brooklyn. We met them for lunch at In n Out Burger.

Boy after driving all that way Bella needed a drink of water.

Okay so could these kids get any cuter?
O my goodness I think they got cuter.
Oh and added a Bella, we are looking at cute overload here!

At Raging Waters Bella spent the first while napping.
After kinda playing in the kid area for awhile Jaden watched while mommy and daddy took truns going down a BIG slide.
I totally missed Ryan going down the slide but there he his going down that hill, uh behind the big curly haired dude.
Just getting out of the Lazy River.
Bella squinting under her evil nemesis, THE SUN. I don't know why she hates it so much, but she does.
Jaden is sad. He doesn't like the water. :(
Jaden's favorite place was the wave pool. After forcing him to come get his feet wet he enjoyed running after the waves.



I had a lot fun, but was probably the only one. Jaden was afraid of the water, Bella hated the sun, and Ryan had a sore neck from a weird whiplash issue he got coughing the other day. *shrug* Maybe next year they'll love water like I do!?

Happenins

Just more happenin's around here.

Lets start out with my little laundry helpers.

Who doesn't love a good roll on the big ball? Is Bella playing the the computer mouse. Doh Bella no no!
Here's something different, I got to meet one of my Gingerscraps friends. Stephanie grew up in Pocatello but currently lives in Boise. On her way through to go to Lagoon she stopped in Pocatello and met me at Johnny B Good for lunch. She's a great girl and I wish we lived closer together.
Lucky me! I got to meet Steph's new baby Delilah! Isn't she cute!

Bella loves to play in the dirt. She wiggles her feet until she has herself a nice little dirt nest to play in.

Jaden is the ultimate Bella copy catter especially when the camera comes out. But at least they are having fun together. To be fair, Bella loves to copy Jaden too. Once I spent like 10 minutes listening to them blow raspberries back and forth. It's a vicious cycle of copying.

Perhaps this battle would have been more fair if Bella also had a bubble gun?

Both kids LOVE story time. Especially story time with Daddy!
Here's my dad's birthday. Jaden was more than happy to help him blow out his candles. My dad turned . . .2? That can't be right. We have a candle mix up here.
We also took my dad white water rafting with the Yancey's for his birthday. It was his first time going and he Loved it! I've been a few times before but still enjoyed the beautiful serenity of nature with moments of rapid excitement. Of course I did not expect to be bucked out of the raft at Lunch Counter. That was a serious rapid! It through out 4 of use. I managed to stay pretty calm and even grabbed a paddle someone had lost as I popped up. A bit waterlogged and a bit chilly when I got back in the raft, but it sure was exciting!

Just cause I'm proud of myself.

I finally got these bean bags made. The point was to help Jaden with his colors and his name, but so far mostly they've been used to play a game Jaden calls "snowball: which basically entails Daddy beaming Jaden with them over and over again.
With Janice's help I was able to make some sour cherry jam. It's very yummy! I don't recall ever canning by myself so it was quite the learning experience.

Sidewalk Chalk

For some reason I hadn't yet bust out our sidewalk chalk. I don't know what I was waiting for, but when Ryan reminded me of it we got right to that sidewalk drawing!

I showed Jaden how to write his and Bella's name as well as different shapes. He also enjoyed drawing a picture of the daddy long leg spider we saw.

Bella had to get in on the fun too.


You know you want to go play with sidewalk chalk now.

Hawker Reunion

2 family reunions, 1 day! A whole heap of family fun. We started out at Jensen's Grove with the Hawker Reunion.

Cousin Celine is great at holding Bella, at least until she starts crying.
Mmm push pop. I remember these from when I was a kid.
Jaden spent most of the time pushing Bella around then leaving her in a corner somewhere. Poor thing.
Afterward we stopped by Grandma & Grandpa Greats and let the kids play with my cousins kids that are close to the same age. Here's Bella and Abby playing ball together.
And randomly on our way back we saw this site! Cory on the 4-wheeler with Uncle Russ. Saweet!

Little Butt Reunion

We made our way to the Little Butt Reunion. No I'm not dissing Ryan's family, that is indeed his mother's maiden name. This reunion was located at his aunts house.

The kids had this neat marble run set up over on the swing set. Jaden spent hours watching and playing with this.

Daddy took Bella for a hop on the tramp.
We even got to go horse back riding! Jaden was WAY too busy for such things, but Bella . . . well didn't have a choice. :)
She kept herself entertained the rest of the time by trying to climb her stroller.
and eat leaves.
and ...Oh I guess she wants me to put the camera down and pick her up.
Jaden got a chance on the tramp too with the other kids and he loved it!

When Daddy said it was time to go it was a mad dash for Jaden to hurry and do EVERYTHING one more time.
So I know I have no pictures of relatives. Sorry. Ry and I did have some good chats with his cousins and what not. It was a great reunion!
