Fair Day 1

Since we're taking Jaden and Bella to the demolition derby Sat. I decided to take the littles on Thurs. morning while the other kids are at school. Grandma Potter and Cory came along too.

The kids were excited from the get go. Especially with Grandma's wagon to ride in.

Passing the tractors Lincoln got pretty excited with his Vroom Vroom noise. So we let him sit on one. He was ready to drive.
My cute little sheep. Took Lincoln a bit to figure out why on earth I wanted him to put his head through a hole in a wood board.

After milking the cow the kids got some flavored milk. Olivia chose chocolate, and Lincoln Cookies 'n Cream. Root Beer milk is still my favorite. Yum!

Petting zoo time and then to the pet store booth. We love animals!

Fair food time! Olivia wanted cheese curds, french fries, and a hot dog. I told her if she ate her cheese curds and fries and still wanted a hot dog she could have one. . . . I ate half the cheese curds and most of the french fries.

 Lincoln got a corn dog!
I got a fried Twinkie, cause I had to try it once. :)
Olivia did however want ice cream after she ate so I did get her some to share with Lincoln. It was pretty and rainbow, too bad I didn't get a picture before they dug in.
After dinner hugs from my now cleaned up boy.

The kids got little spikey balls that lit up and squeaked. Boy we sure got everyone's attention after that. I took the squeakers out once we got home. WAY too loud for indoors.

I told Olivia she could ride 1 ride. Of all the rides she wanted to drive this fourwheeler. Clearly she's daddy's girl. and she LOVED it!

Near the rides there's this great place for the kids to just play in these fun cars.

 It's Happy!
We couldn't stay late enough for the sea lion show, but we did stop by and see them.
Then Grandma had a great idea. . .
She paid to have a picture with the sea lion giving Olivia a kiss! Aww she loved it so much! I asked her if it feels like getting a kiss from Daddy. She said "Yup" Don't know if it's cause of the whiskers or cause it's wet and slobbery. Hee.

She loved it so much that grandma bought her a little sea lion to give her as many kisses as she could ever want.  Lincoln got a cute little penguin.

After a quick stop to get cotton candy we were ready to head home. What a fun day at the fair! Thanks Grandma and Cory for coming too!

Fair Parade

The Kiddos love going to fair parade. I'm pretty sure it's mostly for the candy.

On the way to the parade we saw a bunch of polish officers stopped near the tracks. We were trying to figure out why then realized there was a train and all the police were still trying to get to the parade route. :) That was the biggest traffic jam I think Blackfoot has had in a good long time, but everyone was very patient and kind during the wait. . . perhaps because every police officer in the county was there?

We were actually prepared this year and brought jackets. Yeah it wasn't really as cold as these kiddos are making it look. It was really a beautiful day!

Seriously I think they got more candy then they get for Halloween! Goodness! It was a fun parade!

Back to School

Off to school again. The kids are so excited to get back to school and see their friends.
Bella is heading to first grade. It's her first year of being at school all day and gets to both walk to and home from school with the other kids. She's so excited. She has Mrs. Dance for her teacher just like Jaden did in first grade. Last year she went to her class sometimes on Mondays so she's more than ready for this!

Jaden is a big 4th grader. His teacher is Mrs. Rider. She finished her student teaching last year and is a new teacher. She's also distantly related (starting to think everyone is). Jaden had his best friend Dakota in his class and is really happy about that.

Here's the crew that walk to school together.
Gracie, Emry, Koy, Bella, Ben, Jaden. & Tristen.
Coming home from school KayAnne and Chesney also come with them as they have afternoon kindergarten this year.

This big girl gets to go to Preschool this year! She is so happy to finally get to go to school too. She's going to the Busy Bee preschool that is located in the Groveland Merc so we often walk there. Her teachers are Miss Lucy and Miss Kari.

She came home from school the first day looking like an adorable little bee! She LOVED it!
