Dance Recital

Another season of Tiny Dancers is over. We had so much fun and the girls did so well at their recital.

We were even lucky enough to have Grandma Great there and GG Potter and Aunt Adele and her family visiting . I'm so grateful to my aunt for getting these pics while Ryan was busy doing video.

Bella, Olivia, Jaden, and I got flowers from Grandma and Grandpa Potter (and me) and candy bars from Grandma Yancey. A friend of my mom's came to watch and even gave the kids these cute little flag pins that she made. Bella loves to wear hers on everything.

I miss my tiny dancers already. Guess I better start thinking about next fall. :)

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Bubble Boy!
I cut my own hair. It looks a lot more like I had it in high school. I like it a lot.

We finally finished this stupid puzzle. We worked on it during conference and then a couple weeks after. All that green and all that red. Eesh!
Some of Bella, Jaden, and Olivia's lovely art.
There's popcorn popping on our apricot tree!
More bubble boy! Jaden and Lincoln love getting all bubbled up in their bath.

We were so lucky to have GG in town for awhile!

Lincoln is one cool dude in Bella's sunglasses.

Ice Cream Party!

For a reward system we have a small jar and when the kids to something extra good or extra chores, beyond what it always expected of them the get to put a jewel in the jar, if the kids are mean or do not do something we already told them to do, they lose a jewel. When the jar is full they get a prize. This time they earned an Ice Cream party! I let each kid pick out a topping or something for the ice cream. Jaden got to pic two because he had the most jewels in the jar. I'm proud of these kiddos for making their goal. I also enjoyed the ice cream. :)

Cub Scout Wolf Skit

Jaden's cub scout troop performed their skits for us parents. They learned some silly scout songs, and made up some of the skit all on their own. They were pretty silly!

Good Manner School

Our Good Manner School for Activity Days went over well. These young ladies were already fairly well mannered but we divided into groups of 2 and rotated around different manners topic. They had to correctly set a table, once they did they were rewarded with Banana bread. Yum! They had a hygiene crossword puzzle, practiced phone etiquette, including times and places you should NOT use your cell phone, what a lady says quiz where we learned how a lady would respond to different situations, and a good manners craft. We also got to meet our new Activity Day Leader sister Luce. While the girls were doing their craft she took a few minutes to talk with the girls and start getting to know them. We are so excited to have sister Luce with us!

ok so my banner didn't turn out as well as I hoped, I'm just not that great at decorating.

Blanket Fort Time

After conference we made a giant blanket fort for Activity Days. We talked about how to follow the Prophets guidelines and learning from our mistakes. Then inside the awesome fort the girls made we went over the conference notes they took and ate S'more trail mix. Yum! We also found out that this would be Sister Andersen's last week as activity day leader. Sad for us, but happy for her new adventure!

Playing with Anna

It's warming up outside and we can finally go out and play a bit. Lincoln and Anna got to spend some time getting to know each other a little better.
