Daily Happenings

Ack it's been a month since I blogged! Yikes let me desperately try to catch up!

Jaden makes so many fun things at preschool and nursery so I have this clothes pin line for him to hang them on.
That looks comfy.
So at this point Bella wasn't walking much but she was such a dare devil! check this out.
DUN
DUUN
DA DA!
This stupid fly thought it was caught in our fake web. Perhaps it was suicidal we aren't sure. It kept waiting for that fake spider to end it's life. After 10 min it was clear the spider wanted nothing to do with him and the fly flew away.
Enjoying a Halloween lollipop.
Mommy Mommy It's Christmas time! See Snow. Yeah poor kid still has a long way to go till Christmas time.
Another comfy spot for Bella. What a character
I told the kids Bella is too big for the dolly stroller, but it's hard to say no when they are having so much fun actually playing together.
Bella does enjoy putting things in the stroller and pushing it around too.
While Ryan was away for a week my poor boy got sick and threw up. We stayed up late watching tv after that. He never let his bucket out of his sight.
More of Jaden's fabulous artwork!
Jaden no longer takes a nap but sometime big boys get tired too.
Bella's favorite place to play lately is in Jaden's tent.

Look sometimes they even play puzzles together!!
Some videos for your viewing pleasure.

Say it Again

11/1/10
Jaden was rather distraught when he ran up to me and told me the yellow leaves were falling down from the tree! Daddy and Grandpa need to fix them! I explained that the leaves were suppose to fall and that they would grow back green in the after the snow is all gone. He seemed relieved. What an exciting age!

11/4/10
Jaden got an award in Preschool today for excellent sharing! Yay! Must be all that practice with little sister. :)

11/5/10
Jaden - "Mommy my tummy is empty. I need to put Skittles in it."
How can I argue with that logic?

11/8/10
Yup 5:30 in the morning the kids were both up. Darn you time change!

11/8/10
Jaden - "Mommy Mommy It's Chrismas time! See Snow!"
Yup it's snowing. But not Christmas time yet!

11/9/10
The good news is Bella FINALLY has a tooth poking through! The bad news? 1 - 3 a.m. screaming :(

11/11/10
Hubby comes home today after been in Utah all week! Can't wait for him to keep me warm again it's been c-c-c-cold without him.

11/11/10
Jaden: Where's my ball? Oh no, Mommy Bella ate it! Me: Honey, Bella couldn't have eaten your ball it's as big as her head.

Halloween Time!

I so love Halloween! It was even more exciting this year with Jaden old enough to really love it and even go to Halloween parties!
His first Halloween party was at preschool. They played fun games and decorated cupcakes and even made  super cool spider hats!

That night he went to a party at the cemetery! Spooky huh? My friend Brady and her Husband take care of the cemetery and their house is there. Brady really out did herself with tons of fun stuff to do and prizes to be won! This skull full of fish crackers was fun to hunt down in their backyard.
The flashlights of course were a big hit!
Treasure hunting through a pumpkin full of beans Jaden found a bouncy ball with a spider in it! Also a big hit and oh so fun to bounce around the kitchen.
Here we are! Wendy, Captain Hook, Peter Pan, & Tinkerbell! (Thanks Jesse for the Hook Costume! Totally rocked)
Already after the candy and we haven't even started the community trunk-or-treat.

Would you take candy from this guy?
Aw sweet sweet rewards
After we visited the grandma's grandpa's, & Jerry and Natalie's (who made wonderful mummy mickey mouse cupcakes) We returned home where Jaden literally bounced off the walls in his sugar high. BreAna and Alton were in town and brought by their adorable little bugs too. What a great Halloween!

Halloween Photoshoot

After all that work making these kiddos costumes I just had to do a fun photoshoot of them! So let me introduce you to several pictures of my lovely little Tinkerbell!

You'll notice as the session goes on more and more pixie dust ends up everywhere.

And here's Peter Pan, okay not being real Peter Pan like in this first one, but look at that look on his face. :)
There's Peter Pan! He can even crow!
Aww if only they would never grow up.
Now this was just too funny not to post. Here below you see them being not terribly pleased with their own accessory.
Solution? Trade of course!
Now their happy and ready to take on anything!

Pre-Halloween Fun!

I love Halloween time! So many fun activities!

Painting Pumpkins
Bella finger painted her own pumpkin.
Jaden got right to work at his.
Can you tell whose is whose? :) I'll give you a hint, I was having so much fun I did 3.
Carmel Apples
I love camel apples!

Jaden loved dipping them in sprinkles.

Pumpkin Carving

Jaden was still too afraid to carve pumpkins this year he spent the whole time in the living room where he could occasionally peek in without getting too close. Bella however had no reservations.
Yay a Pumpkin!
She stuck her hand right in to play with the guts!
Ooo they look so spooky!
Especially after dark!

Something Old

Back in the day...farther...like before we even had kids! I got a season pass to Raging Waters. I thought it would be fun to take some friends and a cheapo disposable camera and take some fun pictures without having to worry then if it got wet or stolen, no big deal. Then the camera sat... and sat...and sat. Finally we used up the rest of the pictures and to my utmost surprise the pictures turned out!
Oh my! Look how skinny Ryan is! I of course was already chubby. Getting married did it to me. :)
Woo Hoo check out that other good lookin' couple. That's BreAna and Alton. On the day they got engaged no less! I have many more pictures of this day. I'll have to send them to you Bre!
Later we took the camera to Raging Waters again. 5 years and 2 children later...

This was taken at the fair and sent to me. I just scanned it in while I was scanning. :)

Now to the fate of this well aged camera. I took it white water rafting. These pictures were taken before. . .

I got bucked off the raft into the river! I had the camera in that plastic bag tucked into my life jacket. Even so when I pulled it out it was soaking wet. But it STILL took pictures! So ya want a camera that will stand the test of time? Go disposable!!
